RESUMO | ABSTRACT
RESUMO: Pesquisas sobre Objetos de Aprendizagem vêm crescendo. Nos últimos cinco anos, o tema foi explorado sob múltiplos enfoques e por diversas áreas do conhecimento. A qualidade educacional desses objetos, a contribuição deles no processo ensino-aprendizagem quando utilizados sistematicamente e as técnicas de armazenamento e recuperação em repositórios educacionais são alguns dos diversos caminhos de investigação. O presente trabalho faz uso de técnicas de bibliometria para apresentar uma análise quantitativa do atual cenário acadêmico mundial das produções, na área da Educação, sobre objetos de aprendizagem e o preenchimento dos seus metadados. A partir dos dados coletados nas bases Scielo Educ@, Scielo BR, Scopus, Redalyc, DOAJ, IRESIE e BBE – referências na indexação de revistas científicas junto ao Qualis/Capes, foi realizada uma análise exploratória para identificar se os temas Objetos de Aprendizagem; Repositório; e Metadados (termos em português, inglês e espanhol) estão presentes nas publicações da área de Educação.
ABSTRACT: Research on Learning Objects has been growing. In the last five years, the subject has been explored under multiple approaches and in several areas of knowledge. The educational quality of these objects, their contribution to the teaching-learning process when used systematically, and the techniques of storage and retrieval in educational repositories are some of the several research paths. The present work makes use of bibliometrics techniques to present a quantitative analysis of the current academic world scene of the productions, in Educational area, about learning objects and the filling of their metadata. From the data collected in the databases Scielo Educ@, Scielo BR, Scopus, Redalyc, DOAJ, IRESIE and BBE - references in the indexing of scientific journals with the Qualis/Capes -, an exploratory analysis was carried out to identify if the subjects Learning Objects, Repository and Metadata (terms in Portuguese, English and Spanish) are present in the publications of the Education area.
